The groups and schedule for eXTREMESLAND 2018 Asia Finals have been announced, with the tournament set to start in a week's time in Shanghai, China.

One of the most notable LAN events in the Asian CS:GO circuit will see 16 teams from the region clash for a share of the $100,000 prize pool for the third year in a row.

Chinese powerhouse Flash won the 2017 edition and will be looking to defend their title at the event, with 5POWER, Chiefs and MVP PK looking as potential threats to their claim.

The 16 teams have been split into four groups, which will be played in a GSL format with best-of-one opening and winners' games, and best-of-three elimination and decider series.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the standard best-of-three, single-elimination playoffs, which will be held on the last two days of the tournament.
